Lipstick Heaven

When I was about 5 years old I would grab my mom's lipsticks and use them as crayons. Drawing on my face and on the walls in my room. You can only imagine the kinds of trouble I found myself in when my mom walked into my room to find 5 to 10 of her lipsticks destroyed. Nonetheless, the punishment was worth it. There is no other feeling than to feel the creamy texture of any lipstick touch your mouth or in my case, face. I just loved the smoothness, the creamy smoothness of the lipstick. The vibrant pigments mesmerized me and from then on I knew I was hooked on lipstick.

Now that I am older, I know where I have to apply lipstick instead of just guessing (5 year old minds guess a lot). Although, my collection is not filled with MAC, Dior, NARS, or Chanel I feel like Revlon does a great job of creating affordable high quality lipsticks. Yes, it would be nice to have the designer brands but I like to eat more than I like lipsticks. Don't get me wrong I love beauty products as much as the next girl, but you put a tasty Tuna Tartare in front of me and I will pay whatever you ask me to. So, for now Revlon or Drugstore brands will do. I don't care if its NYC or some random brand as long as they look good no one has to know.
...shhh my little secret.
What are your favorite brands of lipstick?

  1. OMGGGGGGGGGGGG. You can sure as hell pull off a red lip and liner. You look GORGEOUS.

  2. If you have any idea of what was used to put those highlights in your hair from this post, please share. I'd greatly appreciate it!
